Your chosen foil color is heat-pressed into the surface of the box using a precision-engraved metal die featuring your logo or design. The technique creates a slightly recessed impression in the surface, resulting in a crisp, luxurious finish. Foils are available in matt, satin or shiny metallic options.

How does it work?
Your logo is engraved into a precision metal die — also known as a block, plate or stamp — which forms the tool that creates the logo / design impression.
Your chosen foil is mounted on the foil blocking machine, and the engraved metal die is aligned with your required position on the box. Several test impressions are carried out on sample boxes to perfect the heat and pressure settings, ensuring a clean, even and crisp result. This setup process typically takes around 45 minutes.
Once testing is complete, your design is applied to your full order quantity, one box at a time, using controlled heat and pressure to create the slightly recessed foil finish.
Your boxes are now complete, featuring your logo or design in your chosen foil color, pressed slightly into the surface for a premium, debossed effect. Your metal die is stored safely for future repeat orders.
