Spring is in the air and what better way to bring in the new season than to match your packaging to this year's seasonal colors! WithVoguemagazine calling it the “season of color confidence”, we couldn’t help get on board to show you how we can help with all your packaging needs this season. Catwalk color trends included fuchsia, yellow, tropical green and similar color palettes.

Pantone have also released their top 10 colors for spring 2017, which will have a distinct influence on fashion, decorating, and indeed, packaging trends. Their list features muted, earthy tones, including Kale and Hazelnut, with pops of primary colors like Lapis Blue and Primrose Yellow.

Now that you are itching to update your packaging to coincide with spring 2017 trends, we will show you what we have to offer, and a few tips on how to incorporate the joy of Spring into your packaging.

Spring into action with these trends!

Foldable boxes in Spring colours

We have many of the color tones that Pantone have announced as on trend this Spring; including silver gray, kraft, pale pink and pale blue boxes. We also have separate ribbonsin Light Silver Gray, Lemon Yellow, Cerise Hot Pink, Lilac, Bright Red, Cobalt Blue, Fossil Brown, French Light Blue, Plum Purple, Misty Turquoise and Sage Green. Your options are endless, so go wild this season!

Seaside stripes are in!

Seaside stripes have made their way back onto the London catwalks, but there is no reason why you can’t incorporate this fun, bold stripe in your packaging. Tissue paper, labelling and ribbons are great places to bring this theme into your packaging.

Floral, a Spring no-brainer

This is a no-brainer, of course flowers have always been a staple of Spring fashion, however this year the focus is on painterly florals. Real flowers, such as dried rose petals or pressed wild flowers will also bring a delightfully natural element to your packaging and are relatively easy to get your hands on.

Banker stripes inspired by Wall Street

Banker stripes, or pinstripes, are also making a re-entry this season, inspired of course by the wonderfully austere Wall Street fashion. We suggest you find a ribbon that mirrors the fine pinstripes and greys of the current fashion and incorporate it into your packaging ties. Use one of our 1" width ribbon colors and find a contrasting thinner ribbon you love to combine the two together in a double ribbon bow.

Tropical trend: color, pattern and plants

2017 will be the year of Greenery according toVogue, so the more leaves and greenery you add the better. The typical ‘tropical’ has been overdone in the past (remember the pineapples?) so why not try a more patterned and color centric interpretation of the tropical theme.

Have fun designing your Spring packaging, and of course we’re happy to help with our wide range of boxes that fold completely flat for minimal storage - designed to make your life easier but with no compromise on quality!

For many brands, the idea of “luxury packaging” immediately brings to mind high costs, complex production and large minimum orders. In reality, premium packaging is rarely about how much you spend. It is about how intentional the experience feels. Customers notice the weight of the box, the precision of the fit, the quality of materials and the consistency of color and detail. When these elements are handled well, packaging can feel luxurious without requiring a fully bespoke solution.

How to build a subscription box that customers can’t wait to open

Most subscription boxes don’t fail because of the product—they fail because the experience becomes forgettable. The subscription box market continues to grow, but so do customer expectations. Today, subscribers are not simply paying for products; they are investing in an experience that arrives at their door every month. That experience begins the moment the box is delivered and continues through the unboxing process, making packaging one of the most important elements of any subscription offering.
